About us
This website is operated by Shekoni, a trading name of XVI Holdings Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12162844, registered office 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Throughout these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Shekoni.
By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms.
Products
We make preserves and condiments in small batches. Colour, set and texture vary slightly between batches. This is a consequence of cooking in small quantities with whole ingredients and is not a fault.
Product images are illustrative. The jar you receive may differ slightly in appearance from the photograph.
Allergens
Our products are made in a facility that handles peanuts.
Yaji contains peanuts.
Rodo and Zobo may contain peanuts.
Full ingredient and allergen information is shown on every product page and on the jar. If you have a food allergy, read it before ordering. If you are unsure, email info@shekoni.co.uk before you buy.
Yaji contains honey and is not suitable for infants under 12 months.
Orders and pricing
Prices include VAT where applicable and are shown in pounds sterling. Delivery is charged separately unless stated.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order, and will refund you in full if we do.
We try to keep prices and descriptions accurate. If we discover an error in the price of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel.
Storage and shelf life
Each jar carries a best before date and storage instructions. Follow them. We are not responsible for products stored contrary to the instructions on the label.
Your account
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity that takes place under it.
Intellectual property
The Shekoni name, logo, label artwork, photography and written content on this site belong to XVI Holdings Ltd. You may not reproduce them without written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. This includes our obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this site at the time you place your order.
